Those visiting Arrasate will find an industrial town, but it also conceals an extraordinary wealth of monuments and scenery.

Its old quarter retains the remains of the original mediaeval structure and it is still possible to go through the three entrance gateways to the village.  It is arranged in three longitudinal streets where interesting buildings from various periods can be admired along the way: among them are the parish church of San Juan Bautista, the Bañez Artazubiaga Mansion and the fabulous baroque square.

To enjoy the landscape, we recommend a visit to the rural hamlets located a short distance from the town centre, such as Udala on the hillside of Udalatx; Bedoña, whose parish church still preserves its Romanic remains; Garagartza, Uribarri and Meatzerreka.
